Ann Bohl Deacon
Ann is a sixth generation Texan. After graduating from The University of Texas, Ann practiced in public accounting. Ann has been recognized as an industry leader since she entered the Executive Search and Staffing industry and has received numerous awards for outstanding performance as an Executive Recruiter and a national industry leader. Ann has been inducted into the National Association of Personnel Services Hall of Fame for her leadership, innovation and contributions to the Executive Search and Staffing industry. Ann received the prestigious Norbert I. B. Fried Ethics National Award in recognition of her efforts to upgrade the image and practices of the Executive Search and Staffing industry. Ann is the Founder and CEO of Deacon Recruiting Inc., Deacon Professional Services LLC, and Lux Concierge LP. Deacon is one of the largest Executive Search firms in central Texas. Lux Concierge founded in 2021 is the largest concierge firm in Austin, Texas and has recently started to serve the Denver market.
Ann continues to give back to the community through her many Board activities. Ann currently serves on The University of Texas’ Chancellors Council Executive Committee and the Dean’s Advisory Council for the UTSA Alvarez School of Business. Ann is a Past Chairman of the Board for the National Association of Personnel Services; previous Community Board Leadership positions include the International Entrepreneurs Organization, the Battered Women’s Shelter of Bexar County, Arthritis Foundation, and the Junior League of San Antonio. Mrs. Deacon has received Distinguished Volunteer Awards and the President’s Award from various organizations.
Ann has been married to her husband, Charlie, for 35 years. She has strong family values and she considers herself fortunate to have close lifelong friends.

Summer Smith
Vice President
Summer manages the Operational responsibilities in the Austin and Denver markets. Throughout her career Summer has worked to define company culture and image to achieve numerous honors, including recognition in Austin Business Journal Best Places to Work and Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000.
Summer is a vibrant, data-driven, and customer service-focused leader who loves to marry people to processes to create operational efficiency and memorable experiences for employees and customers.
Customer service-obsessed, she possesses over 20 years of cross-functional operations, project management and sales experience working with organization’s boasting teams of creative thinkers focusing on the top-line drive, as well as bottom-line results.
Inspiring business success by fostering a sense of loyalty, consistency, and compassion among team members, Summer balances high expectations and standards with seamless organization and communication, all while having fun at work.

Chris Wilson
Managing Director
Chris has been serving people with a personal touch for the past 30 years. People are his passion.
He has been an advocate for students in higher education, a leader amongst workers in the service industry, as well as a passionate conversant with people from all walks of life.
Chris started his career in the hospitality industry and then transitioned to IT Consulting, owning his own business for over 10 years. He spent 15 years working in higher education in variety of roles at Parkland College before relocating to Texas. With a desire to return to his roots to work in service, Chris spent several years in restaurant management in Austin with organizations such as Torchy’s Tacos and Alamo Drafthouse.
Chris is a passionate fan of pop-culture. If you’re a fan of music (particularly vinyl records), German automobiles, or “The Simpsons,” he will be likely bend your ears for hours at a time.”

Paul Flores
Concierge Director
Paul Flores is a Concierge Director with Lux Concierge. He has served various Lux Clients in Austin, Texas including The Whitley, Ashton Austin, SkyHouse, The Quincy, and most recently, The Bowen.
Paul brings a 14 year tenure in the Concierge business, with over 20 years of Retail Management experience. As someone who enjoys challenges and problem solving, Paul has found his perfect fit in the Hospitality Industry.
Paul has a great love for music, and has been a lead singer to an award winning rock band since 1996.

Chance Copeland
Concierge Director
Chance Copeland is a Concierge Director with Lux’s long standing and valued Client, SkyHouse Austin. With countless Resident and Client Testimonials, Chance has a proven passion for making a difference in people’s lives and making Residents always feel at home.
Chance has been a Concierge for 6 years, with over 15 years of Customer Service Experience. He has found his true home at SkyHouse Austin, and enjoys the strong relationships he has formed with the Residents.
In his free time, Chance loves listening to live music and supporting the booming Austin music scene.

Jennifer Ricks
Concierge Director
Jennifer Ricks is a Concierge Director with Lux Concierge, serving the North Austin market with a passion for exceptional service and personalized experiences. With a background in both hotel management and client-centered concierge retail, she brings a well-rounded approach to hospitality. Her time as a hotel General Manager honed her leadership skills, earning her a “Best of” award in 2021, while her 20 years in education sharpened her ability to connect, communicate, and problem-solve with ease.
Outside of work, Jennifer loves spending time with family, friends, and their many pets. She enjoys game nights, beach days (no matter the season), and exploring locally owned restaurants. Whether she’s sharing a home-cooked meal, getting lost in a good book, or soaking up moments with her grandbaby, she values the connections and experiences that bring joy to everyday life.

Nate Rabinovitch
Concierge Director
Nathan Rabinovitch is thrilled to join the Lux Concierge team as a Concierge Director in the Austin market. He brings over 20 years of hospitality and resort experience including managing safari lodges and camps in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Uganda, Botswana and Madagascar!
Nathan was born and raised just one mile from one of the seven wonders of the world, the Victoria Falls located in Zimbabwe. Growing up in a tourist destination and living on a photographic safari farm, he has hospitality in his blood and fell in love with sharing his love of his country and the wildlife to visitors. He is excited to bring his African, 5-star customer service to Lux Concierge.
When he is not working, you can find him at the gym, playing golf, watching rugby or cricket and finding the best BBQ Austin has to offer!

Mitch Mason
Concierge Director
Mitch is a hospitality professional with a background in luxury hotel and resorts outlet operations, and customer service. His experience in high-end hospitality honed his ability to anticipate client needs, ensuring seamless and elevated interactions.
An engaged leader, Mitch finds great job satisfaction in coaching, mentoring, and helping others reach their goals. His knowledge of hotel outlet operations, property management, and customer relations allows him to provide tailored experiences that leave lasting impressions.
Based in Austin, Texas, Mitch lives with his husband, Forrest, and their two beloved Frenchies, Pettifleur (Petti) and Nico. When he’s not focused on hospitality, he enjoys entertaining friends and family, traveling, and interior design.

Rene Morales
Concierge Assistant Director
Rene Morales brings a wealth of service-oriented experience to his role as Assistant Concierge Director. From retail management to his time as a TSA officer, Rene has built his career around helping others and creating positive experiences. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, he earned his degree in theatre and film from Texas State University and continues to pursue his creative passions in his free time.
Outside of work, Rene enjoys hiking, staying active, traveling the world, and dancing the night away. His energy, empathy, and enthusiasm make him a natural leader and a valued part of the team.

Lance Kuykendall
Concierge Assistant Director
Lance Kuykendall is Concierge Assistant Director with Lux Concierge in the Denver market. He is a proud Texas native, born and raised in the Dallas area. His career in hospitality began at 19 when he started working in hotels, where he also met his wife. With 15 years of marriage and two college-aged kids, family is at the heart of everything he does.
A true people person, Lance thrives on connection and the dynamic energy of the hospitality industry. Outside of work, he enjoys unwinding with a good cigar, spending time with his two beloved dogs, a husky and a Maltese, and competing in an 8-ball pool league with his wife, a tradition they’ve kept for over 12 years.

Anthony Martinez
Concierge Assistant Director
Anthony Martinez is a Concierge Assistant Director at Lux Concierge. Anthony is a proud Austinite and has a decorated resume in various Customer Service roles.
Anthony has long standing relationships with Lux Team Members and is dedicated to growing his skillset in hospitality. Concierge means caretaker, and Anthony has found his perfect fit in a profession where he can provide the exceptional to Residents and our community.
Anthony is a proud husband and father and enjoys being active in coaching baseball, softball and volleyball for his 3 children.

David Bonney
Concierge Assistant Director
David Bonney is a seasoned hospitality professional with over 42 years of experience spanning customer service, retail, and floral design. A proud Texan, David has called Austin home for the past 36 years!
Before entering the hospitality field, David enjoyed a 15-year career as a licensed florist, designing arrangements for weddings and special events across Texas. His attention to detail and creativity continue to influence his work today.
David is known not only for his professionalism but also for his unique personal interests. He is an avid movie collector with a library of over 800 Blu-rays, as well as a passionate fan of Renaissance-era memorabilia—including swords, dragons, and wizards.
A dedicated and loyal team member, David looks forward to continuing his role in hospitality for many years to come!

Mike Stanley
Concierge Assistant Director
Mike Stanley, Concierge Assistant Director, brings over 20 years of experience in hospitality and tourism, from managing a language school in Oaxaca, Mexico, to owning and operating a successful bicycle tours and rentals business in Austin. Originally from New Orleans, he has called Austin home for over 31 years, blending his Big Easy charm with Texas hospitality.
A lifelong music lover and drummer, Mike considers himself a “recovering live music addict.” When he’s not working, you’ll find him traveling, snowboarding, mountain biking, or enjoying Cajun food with friends and family. He also loves spending time outdoors with his dogs, making the most of everything Central Texas has to offer.

Scott Catone
Concierge Assistant Director
Scott Catone brings a broad range of experience that shapes his thoughtful, solutions-driven approach to leadership. With a background in hospitality, technology, and logistics, Scott excels at streamlining operations and delivering exceptional service. His upbringing in a military family took him across the globe before eventually settling in San Antonio, Texas. He later earned his bachelor’s degree from St. Edward’s University in Austin.
Scott’s journey into concierge services has come full circle in his current role as Assistant Concierge Director. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his partner Chelsea and their dog, Pearl. His adventurous spirit and operational expertise make him a valued asset to the Lux team.
